HELLO AND WELCOME TO THE SCOTTISH NORWICH PLAINHEAD CLUB WEBSITE

This is the website of the SNPC and has been set up for the benefit of its members and also for Individuals with an interest in Norwich Canaries. This site contains information which is the property of the SNPC.

We are back! - off since July 10th 2006, back in with a new name (www.Scot-nor.org.uk) since October 9th 2006.

Welcome to our site. Thanks again to our back up team in Ayrshire, who made it all happen - again!

Since we have been off your screens we now have a new joint treasurer and secretarial team of Mr and Mrs E. Adams, details below. Welcome to both of you and good luck and thanks for your involvement.

Thanks also to our former secretary Mrs L. Nairn who helped to keep the club going after the resignation of Mr R. Nelson.

This club needs everybody’s thorough commitment. We have also now got an official cage maker for the SPCC showcages and we want you to make use of his services. He is one of our members of long standing and he makes very good cages, it is good to have him involved again. Contact Mr W. Pinkerton ,117 Hillview Drive, Blantyre, Lanarkshire, Tel 01698 824197. Willie will make your cages to the correct standard.

It was heartening to see many good quality Norwich on the show bench last year. Many of these birds were well on their way to looking like our new model of excellence. The 'new' Norwich is already a credit to the breeders of such birds and is a great improvement on its predecessors. The club continues to progress under the guidance of our elected office bearers and secretaries Mr and Mrs E. Adams, "Kirtledene", Kirtlebridge, Lockerbie, Dumfriesshire, DG11 3LR, Tel 01461 500250,e-mail: adams@kirtledene.fsnet.co.uk to them we are indebted.
